Korean women are more open to the idea of divorce than men are, and also more prepared, a survey reveals. In the survey by matchmaking agency Duo of 978 single men and women in their 20s and 30s, only 20 percent of female respondents said divorce is not an option, compared to 40 percent of male respondents who said the same. In terms of readiness, 35 percent of men said they would not prepare for a possible divorce, whereas nearly half of the women surveyed said they would set aside funds to be used if their marriage fell apart.
