In today's world marriage and divorce happen so fast we could almost merge the two word words together and just call it MARRIORCE. Take Britney Spears for example.Didn't she marry a longtime friend for Now this is the untelling tale. What do the children think? What is going on in there minds on an everyday basis, that we as divorced parents don't see?
I can tell you from my own experience with my son who is seven years old, it actually encouraged me to write this article. He is lives with his mother, and for the most part I see him every weekend barring events that he must indulge in whether it be with his mother's family or something else.Lately, he has been asking questions that quite frankly, I was not prepared to answer, and was caught off guard. The first one had to be one of the hardest. "Daddy, when are you going to stay all night at my house?" he asked. On a different occasion he said to me, "I want to live with you. Can I live with you?" Now this question brought up a confrontation with his mother for the simple fact that I was answering it the best way possible at the time. I could go on and tell you my answers, but it is something that I want keep personal. Divorce is hard, period. When you have children involved, I cannot describe the difficulties.about oh, seventeen minutes. Then moved on to Kevin Federline and oops, before I could finish the sentence he's gone too. Now I am just using Miss Spears for the simple fact that if anybody out there knows not one person divorced, you are sure to have heard of Britney Spears and the slashing she gets from the media. It's a growing trend that is caused by unprotected sex, and pregnancy, that has flourished over the years. Can we stop this trend? Or should we accept it, and look for other alternatives to control the situation.
